There is a mechanism in the Universe that answers to the Power of Agreement between two or more parties:
“Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” –Matthew 18:19-20 (NIV)
This Power of Agreement is similar to a 1.5-volt battery combined with another 1.5-volt battery. When they are linked together, they become more powerful than the individual alone. When a flashlight requires two batteries, the light only turns on when both are in place.
The Universe is set up in a way that when two or more individuals come together, the light begins to shine even brighter and miracles happen. Quantum Physics supports Aristotle’s theory, “The whole is more than the sum of its parts.”
This is how the board meetings of large companies are run to set their goals. One person introduces an idea or a motion and another member of the board seconds the motion. The administrative assistant writes it down and the motion is passed.
Similarly, we have this ability to create with the agreeing force of another individual. The other person can participate in agreement and encouragement of our set goals even when the other person is only slightly aware of the content. We can “high five” each other or have the other person initial our written statement, speak about it, or partake in whatever method we feel comfortable with.
My two sisters make it a ritual of calling each other every Monday morning. They go through their lists of what they desire to call in for the week encompassing all areas of their lives. After they second the motion for everything they each wish to attract, they pray over it. For over five years now, this ritual has become their safe haven and the most in1portant appointment of the week. Many miraculous stories were created with this focused discipline.
This is why Jesus gathered His disciples. Whether people go to seminars, concerts, live sport events, or gather in church and pray on Sundays, they are all sharing the elevated vibrational energy of the group. When we pray in a group, we enhance our focus and desires. Let us find our accountability partner or form Prayer Alliances with friends and family.
