ln accordance with the strongest law in the universe, the Law of Attraction, the more one gives in joy, the more one receives. Giving and receiving share the same vibrational field as does flow and allow. Human nature is made to receive and give.

To begin to receive, the suggestion has been made to increase our giving. In order to receive more, let us give more. The most well known verse of the Bible is John 3:16, where it is shown that God gave us the greatest gift: His son.

The amount we have to give is of little concern; what matters most is that we have the heart and pure desire to give. This is clearly shown in the story of the widow’s offering in the Holy Bible in Mark 12.

Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.

Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything-all she had to live on.” –Mark 12:41-44 (NIV)

There is much more than money we can give. The most powerful gift we have is to allow ourselves to be the blessing. Let us bless everyone we come in contact with on our path. Let us share our talents, prayers, smiles, encouragement, and beautiful words. Let us be there for one another. Jesus gave his prayers and blessings over everyone rather than money. Let us show our love for humanity.

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” –2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)

To be cheerful givers, we shall also open our hearts to receive. We can only draw money from a bank account if money has been deposited to begin with. The same is true for our emotional account. I pray that we all freely receive and freely give!
