We are what we think about most of the time! What happens so often is we let everything pour in. Start sorting!

It is very important to clean up our thoughts. Either we start to affect the way we think, or the way we think affects us. Our thought life reflects our emotional state.

Let us be conscious about what we allow in. Let us control our thoughts by looking at each incoming thought with awareness. Everything that enters into our mind is incoming information. Pay attention to what enters. Thoughts enter our mind merely to visit for a single moment. We can look at them and decide if they are worth keeping or passing on.

Thoughts are just that–only thoughts until we own them and attach personal meaning to them. Thoughts are meant to be looked at and processed once. Let us be aware if our negative thoughts are playing over and over. this is how less-than-desirable memories are anchored.

By controlling our thoughts, we have the opportunity to allow good information into our minds. Repetitively focusing on the good and what we really desire to think about effectively replaces old memories with empowering supportive ones. This enables us to replace old memories with better ones.

Stay in the now. Refrain from rethinking the past and rerunning conversations and occurrences that are over. To make the most of the present moment, stay in a positive state of mind.

99.9% of the time we are okay and life goes on. Stop thinking of the 0.1%. We can cross that bridge when we arrive! When we constantly think and speak of less desired outcomes, they will materialize as well as the good things we wish to attract and create. Think and feel positive, calm, confident, and reassured.

Let us set up a positive framework for our attitude. Do we view our world friendly? It is time to view our world friendly all the time. Visualize a positive outcome. Everything is going great–all is well all the time!

To change anything, let us first change our minds. The mind is a powerful creator, so powerful that it is the source that convinces us to do everything. Before any change is possible, we shall consciously welcome in the opportunity to improve our thought processes. Change starts with our minds. Change happens when we focus our awareness on what we truly desire and start to target what brings us the most joy.

Let us decide to focus on receiving happiness and what makes our hearts sing. It is self-caring and self-nurturing to keep our focus there. Let us always focus on the solution. Especially when we pray, let us pray into the positive desired outcome.

What we focus on and constantly think about, we attract. Remember, our thoughts attract and our words create. The words we speak reflect our thoughts.

Let us use the Power of Positive Thinking. The easiest way to start is with positive affirmations. Use the following affirmations, directly taken from page 270 of Receive Joy’s book Ask And You Shall Receive:

“I have the power to welcome only the thoughts that bless me. I have the power to turn away all opposing thoughts. I think positive thoughts that attract what I desire. I constantly create great thoughts of love and joy. My mind is focused.”

An audio recording of these and more positive affirmations is available in our shop.
